This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Achieves and delivers on the sales goals set for the region according to budget.
• Communicates monthly depletion objectives and programming schedules to wholesalers.
• Maximizes sales potential, evaluated through budget adherence and the percentage of wines sold in the area.
• Establishes objectives, supervises activities, assesses performance, and guides District Managers within the territory.
• Enhances market demand and acceptance with distributors by targeting and establishing new accounts, boosting sales to current accounts, developing account bases, and focusing on top accounts in each market.
• Remains aware of distributor trends within the marketplace.
• Engages actively in the wine community through regular and positive networking with industry peers and key wholesaler personnel.
• Collaborates with their direct manager to create and execute specific strategies tailored to each market.
• Suggests and implements decisions informed by analyses that improve the brands' equity.
• Recommends and justifies budgeting requirements, sales tactics and strategies, optimal account base size, pricing, and on/off mix, among others.
• Develops and oversees the monthly regional operational and sales budget.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of sales experience within the wine industry.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and planning abilities.
• Advanced understanding of wine industry pricing strategies and market dynamics.
• Proficient in technology, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of state car registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.
