This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.
• Engage with existing and prospective customers to secure equipment, inside services, and parts and service business.
• Execute account management tasks and act as the main point of contact between the company and our clients.
• Convey customer requirements and company objectives effectively.
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive order input information is provided.
• Keep both customers and the company informed of any changes regarding open items.
• Take part in pre-installation and startup meetings and communications.
• Enhance the relationship between customers and our organization.
• Maintain a balanced approach to customer advocacy.
• Support the VP of Sales and Marketing in establishing connections with higher-level decision-makers within larger corporations.
• Cultivate strong, productive relationships with customers that encourage repeat business and secure the company's right of refusal.
• Develop and maintain an active opportunity pipeline through proactive management of the territory.
• Collaborate with our Technical Service Group (TSG) to recommend and provide optimal solutions tailored to our customers' applications and needs.
• Present high-probability opportunities for review with the VP of Sales and Marketing.
• Negotiate favorable pricing and sales terms for the company.
• Stay informed about market trends and direct sales efforts towards the most promising growth markets.
• Assist the VP of Sales and Marketing in formulating annual (or rolling 12-month) sales and marketing strategies.
• Provide recommendations on how the company can effectively position itself with customers and within markets.
• Participate in selected trade shows, conferences, and association meetings.
• A bachelor's degree in business or a related technical field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of sales experience is required.
• Experience in sanitary markets is preferred.
• Familiarity with centrifuges is highly desired.
• Residency in IA, MN, or WI is strongly preferred for remote work.
• Background in selling services and larger capital equipment is a plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation capabilities are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% of the time, is required.
