• Take ownership of the sales strategy and revenue objectives for Nexus One, overseeing the entire process from pipeline generation to closing deals.
• Build, manage, and expand a high-performing sales team, which includes responsibilities for hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Design and execute a repeatable sales process that encompasses qualification criteria, deal stages, forecasting frequency, and CRM maintenance.
• Establish and monitor essential sales metrics (pipeline coverage, conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle length, and win rate) while driving ongoing enhancements.
• Personally manage and secure strategic or high-value accounts, particularly in the initial stages.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation, messaging, and the ideal customer profile.
• Work together with Product on pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning based on insights gathered in the field.
• Manage the sales budget, headcount planning, and recommendations for compensation structures.
• Create accurate revenue projections and report on pipeline health to the leadership team.
• Establish a seamless handoff process with Customer Success/Support to guarantee a robust post-sale experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success in building or significantly scaling a sales function, preferably within a SaaS or technology product company.
• Experience selling to C-Level executives at enterprise-level clients.
• Strong data proficiency — able to set KPIs, develop forecasts, and utilize pipeline data for decision-making rather than merely reporting.
• Familiarity with modern sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or similar platforms).
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities; equally skilled at conducting discovery calls and presenting to a board.
• A strong inclination towards action — you prefer to test a new outreach strategy this week rather than wait for a flawless plan next quarter.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing and Product to align on go-to-market strategies.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• A collaborative team culture founded on curiosity and respect.
• Engaging work where your contributions are valued and impactful.
• A leadership team committed to investing in learning and professional development.
• The chance to work at the forefront of cloud, data, and AI innovation.
