This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• The Regional Sales Manager is essential in fostering sales growth and increasing market presence within the designated region.
• This role entails the formulation and implementation of strategic sales plans that align with the company's overarching objectives.
• Moreover, the Regional Sales Manager will build robust relationships with key distributors and national accounts to improve collaboration and optimize sales volume.
• This position is vital for meeting revenue targets and securing a competitive advantage in the marketplace for unit load products.
• Develop and implement annual sales and profitability objectives.
• Analyze market trends and competitor actions to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Generate new business leads through cold calling, emails, and face-to-face interactions.
• Utilize company-provided prospecting tools and networking to reach out to decision-makers at potential customer organizations.
• Follow up on leads generated through other Millwood channels, such as trade shows, the company website, and other Regional Sales Managers.
• Create and present proposals that cater to each prospective customer's specified needs.
• Negotiate pricing for all products and services with both new and existing direct accounts.
• Maintain and enhance revenue and profitability with current accounts.
• Offer local support for National Account customer locations within the territory.
• Provide sales assistance for Millwood-owned operations where applicable.
• Record all activities in Salesforce.
• Represent Millwood at assigned Industry Trade Shows.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline. (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in regional sales management or a comparable position.
• Strong knowledge of sales territory management and distributor sales.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the territory 3-5 days per week.
• Availability for overnight travel within your territory and to corporate meetings or events, as necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and Outlook.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel by car and plane.
• Must be able to rent transportation when needed.
