This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversees a team of ten to twelve sales managers across a wide geographic area.
• Accountable for a revenue range of $50M to $75M, with goals to increase the portfolio by 2 to 3 times within three years.
• Sets sales targets aligned with company objectives.
• Responsible for crafting strategic sales plans that align with company goals to foster sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction for the organization.
• Collaborates with business development to maximize value from project specifications, enhancing close ratios and margin growth.
• Works with cross-functional leaders to implement a unified go-to-market strategy for all commercial roofing, wall, and related product solutions.
• Develops an annual sales plan that supports the strategic aims and objectives of the MBCI organization.
• Directs the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
• Ensures that communications are streamlined, support sales plan objectives, and comply with organizational expenditure requirements in partnership with marketing.
• Coordinates growth strategies with Business Development to increase market share for metal roofing and wall systems across various building projects.
• Suggests sales strategies for enhancement based on market analysis and competitor evaluations.
• Capable of leading integration efforts to support an ambitious M&A strategy.
• Cultivates a sales culture where outstanding customer service is the norm.
• Drives sales performance by acquiring and developing top-tier talent.
• Builds, nurtures, and manages a sales team equipped to execute essential sales and service initiatives.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the building materials industry.
• A minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership role, including executive-level experience, is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience in technical product sales.
• Equivalent experience in a similar industry or product field is preferred.
• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to persuade leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or methods.
• A proven history of leading teams to successfully execute strategies and achieve exceptional results.
