Regional Risk Manager, North America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement and manage risk management processes within the HUB to effectively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with BU and Hitachi Energy standards and best practices.

• Participate in risk review meetings to assess risks and provide insights for mitigation strategies.

• Approve bids, ensuring that risks are identified, evaluated, and in line with established standards.

• Monitor risks throughout project execution to guarantee that mitigation measures are effectively applied.

• Support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process and integrate it with Business Risk Management (RM).

• Offer training and guidance on risk and contract management to various teams.

• Ensure ongoing adherence to internal policies, standards, and regulations.

• Prepare and disseminate risk review summaries to relevant stakeholders.

• Foster continuous improvement in risk management processes and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or a related discipline.

• At least 10 years of experience in risk, project, finance, or operational management within a manufacturing setting.

• Business acumen, categorized into: i) Technical, for evaluating the level of understanding of the Business, i.e., Product and/or Service, and ii) Execution, to assess the comprehensive capability of the Risk Manager in real-world execution.
