This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Effectively train and nurture a team of Retail Coverage Merchandisers to ensure alignment with overall objectives and in-store execution as required by our clients. Areas of focus include:
• Expectations for new item execution
• Client shelving goals
• Merchandising objectives
• Client sales targets
• Cultivate the team's ability to identify best practices and sales opportunities within the store to enhance client sales.
• Ensure quality execution by conducting audits of work and providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance.
• Lead by example by fostering consistent communication and building rapport with retailers.
• Collaborate with the Retail Director to effectively convey and implement key initiatives to vital retail clients.
• Work in partnership across the retail organization to communicate and execute key initiatives for Team Leaders, General Managers, Business Managers, and Retail Business Managers.
• Act as a subject matter expert on retail systems, utilizing Acosta University and other resources to train associates on optimizing technology usage in-store.
• Create and implement selling materials for all retail meetings.
• Conduct bi-quarterly evaluations and provide feedback to support the ongoing development of the retail selling team.

• Ability to maintain a broad perspective, recognizing connections between diverse systems, organizations, or environments; formulate action plans from multiple viewpoints.
• Clearly and succinctly convey ideas, tailoring messages to the audience and delivering information accurately and compellingly.
• Foster continuous learning by giving and seeking open and genuine feedback; engage others and promote high performance. Employ coaching and mentoring skills to support employee development.
• Establish connections between organizational objectives and individual personal goals.
• Exhibit proficiency in utilizing retail systems and tools to enhance job effectiveness and efficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft software: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be capable of driving for extended periods.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales abilities.
• Capable of presenting to a diverse range of audiences and responding to inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies by all Retail Personnel.
• This position requires driving on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing.
