Regional Program Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Assist the Outdoor Experience Manager in the design, management, and implementation of outdoor programs, camps, and adventure challenges.

• Responsibilities include aiding in curriculum development, preparing camp materials, monitoring camper registrations and payments, gathering necessary forms, and traveling regionally as required to support in-person program execution.

• Collaborate with the Girl Program Manager in the creation, management, and execution of girl programs and regional events, providing in-person program assistance through regional travel.

• Support the Highest Awards program by coordinating administrative tasks and offering virtual coaching to participants.

• Aid the Adult Development Manager with the onboarding, training, and recognition of volunteers.

• Provide administrative assistance for volunteer training, support the update of training materials, and travel regionally as necessary to facilitate in-person training sessions.

• Deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to participants.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards for all activities.

• Gather, analyze, and report both quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and identify areas for enhancement.

• Uphold the Girl Scout Law and Promise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Education, Recreation, Non-Profit Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilitating outdoor programs or similar positions, preferably in an international or multicultural setting, including volunteer experience.

• Familiarity with safety standards, risk management, and outdoor industry regulations for outdoor and adventure activities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English is required.

• Experience working with volunteers and diverse teams.
