
Regional Product Manager – Engineering Plastics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Responsible for the development and oversight of product management concerning our suppliers, who are leading manufacturers of high-quality engineering thermoplastics (ETPs) in the DACH region.
• Work collaboratively with European Product Management to execute market and product strategies.
• Provide support to our sales teams in specified product and application domains.
• Serve as the main contact for strategically significant clients in the region (Tier 1 – Tier 2 experience is a plus).
• Assist in recognizing growth opportunities and ensuring a robust commercial presence.
• Offer first-line technical guidance to sales teams and customers regarding product selection, market, and application.
• Communicate success stories and product benefits throughout the region.
• Engage in commercial planning and budget management.
• Track the performance of assigned product categories and ensure target achievement.
• Supply market intelligence that may impact budgeting and sales initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between regional sales teams and suppliers.
• Transform product strategies into actionable regional plans.
• Coordinate regionally on pricing, product availability, and (compatible) customer requirements.
• Prepare accurate sales (demand) forecasts to assist supply chain planning and guarantee product availability.
• Contribute to demand planning and risk management approaches.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment of objectives.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their knowledge and performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial or technical product roles (technical activities).
• Capability to influence across functions and countries while delivering results.
• Strong and clear communication, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in data analysis.
• Competence in managing complex and conflicting priorities; results-oriented and responsive.
• Practical mentality with a strong service orientation.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience in a matrix organization is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region and attend European meetings (up to 50%).
