This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.
• Acquire new district logos and achieve the annual new business quota within a designated territory.
• Establish and uphold a pipeline coverage of 3x to facilitate quarterly and annual quota achievement.
• Promote the cross-selling of at least one new Riverside Insights product to existing customer districts each year.
• Collaborate with Renewal Account Managers on quarterly joint account planning for key districts.
• Implement a disciplined, stage-based sales process with clearly defined exit criteria and maintain accurate CRM hygiene.
• Articulate product value and ROI in relation to district initiatives such as MTSS, PBIS, SEL, early learning, and assessment modernization.
• Transition pilots and limited implementations into widespread adoption across multiple schools or districts in collaboration with Professional Learning and Customer Success.
• Achieve forecast accuracy within a margin of plus or minus 10% on a rolling quarterly basis.
• Work together with Renewal Account Managers, Professional Learning, Customer Success, and Marketing to cultivate long-term relationships with districts.
• Proven K-12 sales experience with a history of acquiring new logos.
• Demonstrated success in consistently meeting quotas in a hunting and cross-selling capacity.
• Experience in managing intricate, multi-stakeholder district sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
• Strong skills in pipeline building, KPI management, and forecasting discipline, including maintaining 3x pipeline coverage and accurate CRM documentation.
• Proficient in consultative discovery and needs analysis, aligning solutions with district instructional priorities.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills, including the ability to finalize multi-year agreements.
• Demonstrated persistence, urgency, and resilience in competitive market environments.
• Capability to work collaboratively with internal teams (Renewals, Professional Learning, Customer Success) while prioritizing district needs.
• Preferred working knowledge of K-12 instructional, assessment, and student wellness frameworks (MTSS, PBIS, SEL, early learning).
• Experience selling assessment, SEL, or student wellness solutions to district leadership is preferred.
• Experience in converting pilots into district-wide adoption is preferred.
• Existing relationships with district decision-makers in the assigned territory are preferred.
• Must reside in a covered U.S. state; Florida or Georgia is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% for district visits, conferences, and presentations.
• May require remaining in stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended durations.
