This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Provide scientific education regarding company products, pipeline compounds, clinical trials, and relevant disease areas to physicians and study teams.
• Offer precise, balanced, and non-promotional scientific information concerning study drugs and pipeline compounds.
• Address medical and technical inquiries from healthcare professionals and study site teams.
• Remain updated on clinical advancements, published data, and emerging research in oncology and precision medicine.
• Assist with educational initiatives and investigator meetings in alignment with clinical study goals.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Principal Investigators, study physicians, and Key Opinion Leaders.
• Develop communication channels with research teams to enhance study performance and execution.
• Efficiently and appropriately manage investigator requests and scientific inquiries.
• Serve as a field-based scientific authority and reliable partner for study sites and CROs.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations teams on current and upcoming company-sponsored clinical trials.
• Visit clinical trial centers to ensure client presence, deliver scientific updates, support patient enrollment strategies, and aid in patient retention.
• Facilitate communication between study sites and corporate Clinical Operations teams.
• Identify and assess potential trial sites for future development programs.
• Provide support for study close-out activities as needed.
• Collect scientific and clinical insights from healthcare professionals and investigators.
• Relay field insights to internal stakeholders to bolster medical and clinical development strategies.
• Enhance the client's professional image and scientific reputation throughout the territory.
• Medical degree, Pharmacy degree, MSc in a relevant scientific field, or equivalent healthcare qualification; PhD preferred.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Fluent in Polish or Czech, based on the country of residence.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
• Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison is essential.
• Experience in Solid Tumor Oncology is critical.
• Background in Breast Cancer is highly preferred.
• Proven success in engaging with KOLs, investigators, researchers, and healthcare professionals.
• Experience supporting clinical trials and collaborating with Clinical Operations teams is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in biotech is advantageous.
• Strong scientific understanding and the ability to convey complex clinical data.
• Capability to discuss clinical evidence and its significance to clinical development strategies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a field-based capacity and contribute within a global Medical Affairs organization.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Experience thriving within matrix organizations.
• High ethical standards and scientific credibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of GxP regulations, ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and local regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with clinical study design, execution, and audit processes.
• Understanding of the oncology and precision medicine landscape.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Poland and the Czech Republic.
• International travel may be necessary.
• Valid driver's license is required.
