Medical Science Liaison – Antimicrobial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture ethical, peer-to-peer relationships with external infectious disease specialists and healthcare stakeholders.

• Deliver balanced, precise, and current medical and scientific information in response to unsolicited inquiries.

• Gather and report scientific and clinical insights to guide medical strategy, address unmet needs, generate evidence, and shape policy development.

• Identify and partner with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical experts for advisory boards, expert meetings, and educational initiatives.

• Enhance and sustain medical and scientific knowledge in the fields of antimicrobial and anti-infective therapy.

• Collaborate with KOLs, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to build scientific credibility for products.

• Chart treatment pathways and protocols within hospitals and healthcare environments.

• Facilitate scientific exchanges to support evidence-based practices and therapeutic positioning.

• Ensure the compliant distribution of scientific data and medical information.

• Provide medical training and educational resources to internal teams.

• Create and deliver medical presentations while facilitating discussions at meetings and conferences.

• Offer insights to cross-functional teams to promote the quality use of anti-infective products.

• Assist in the organization of symposia, webinars, and KOL engagements.

• Attend conferences, medical meetings, and institutional engagements as a representative of Link Healthcare.

• Report adverse events, product quality complaints, and compliance issues through the appropriate channels.

• Engage in audits, training, and compliance initiatives.

• Contribute to the development and execution of the annual medical plan.

• Deliver a minimum of 6 actionable insights each month.

• Manage advanced travel arrangements while ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Adhere to Australian AMS principles, company policies, regulatory standards, Medicines Australia/Medicines New Zealand codes, SOPs, pharmacovigilance requirements, and GCP.

• Keep filing, documentation, reports, expenses, and product sample records current.

• Attend meetings and collaborate with management and staff to ensure efficient project delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) in a relevant scientific or healthcare field.

• Comprehensive understanding of Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) policies and hospital treatment protocols.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the capability to engage and influence stakeholders.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to travel extensively across ANZ as required.
