This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and nurture collaborative scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Implement regional medical engagement strategies that align with the Global Medical Affairs objectives.
• Represent Solid at scientific conferences, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and various external events.
• Offer scientific education and facilitate discussions about Solid’s research and development initiatives.
• Aid in identifying, evaluating, activating, and expanding sites for clinical studies.
• Work in partnership with Clinical Operations to enhance site performance and ensure readiness for enrollment.
• Collect external insights to guide protocol design, endpoint selection, and overall development strategy.
• Assist in preparing for future launches by developing a comprehensive understanding of regional care pathways and treatment landscapes.
• Capture, analyze, and convey actionable medical insights.
• Identify prospects for generating real-world evidence, engaging in natural history collaborations, and supporting investigator-sponsored research.
• Facilitate scientific communication and publication initiatives through active stakeholder engagement.
• Advanced degree in a scientific or clinical field (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP).
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, clinical settings, or academia.
• Preference for experience in rare diseases, neuromuscular diseases, genetics, or gene therapy.
• Proven track record in engaging with key opinion leaders and facilitating scientific exchanges.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
