This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop, implement, and oversee accountability for interactions and feedback with key external experts (EEs).
• Must be capable of effectively interfacing with national and regional EEs, confidently representing AbbVie’s interests while seeking solutions that enhance patient care.
• Must identify emerging EEs, including both physicians and mid-level professionals, to broaden AbbVie’s presence in the Psychiatry sector.
• Responsible for engaging with EEs and participating in significant medical congresses.
• Aids in the identification and coordination of Commercial leadership engagements at major conferences.
• Provides comprehensive insights derived from the assimilation of key stakeholder feedback, leveraging diverse experiences as a strategic advantage to enhance insight generation, collaboration, and problem-solving.
• Accountable for specific geographical areas within the country, understanding market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics.
• Translate local business needs into strategies that align with the national marketing plan.
• Supports the field by maximizing resources, identifying local congress opportunities, and creating innovative regional speaker programs.
• Collaborates closely with salesforce leadership to identify and communicate opportunities, and presents business plans to sales leadership biannually.
• Continuously assess and apply knowledge regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of key tactics.
• Effectively manage projects to ensure high-quality deliverables within set timelines.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
• May lead key team workstreams and collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners to guarantee successful execution, including roles such as team compliance lead, advisory board support, insight dissemination to the IBT, national congress lead support, and speaker budget lead.
• Maintain an understanding of the disease landscape and competitive marketplace.
• Operate in compliance with all AbbVie internal policies and relevant external regulatory requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required (in either sales and/or marketing).
• Strong business acumen along with proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with the capacity to deliver effective presentations to internal and external stakeholders, sales teams, and senior management.
• Proven skills in project management and prioritization of competing business demands.
• A self-starter who is intellectually curious and capable of swiftly adapting when necessary.
• Proactively identifies problems and conceptualizes creative and innovative solutions.
• Open to feedback and experimentation for improvement, embraces others' ideas, encourages innovation while remaining grounded in reality.
• Operates effectively within a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, participating in national and regional conferences, sales and marketing meetings, and field visits.
• Valid driver’s license: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
