This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee, guide, and define the strategic direction for all Hardware Territory Managers and locations in California and neighboring states to achieve sustainable growth.
• Accountable for the region’s sales enhancement, profitability, product listings, conversion rates, and market share growth within the 2-step distribution framework.
• Build and nurture relationships with key accounts and influential personnel.
• Enhance digital initiatives through Salesforce, Showpad, and Business Warehouse to foster efficiencies and transformation.
• Efficiently manage budgets (Travel & Expense, Targeted Funds, Demo Tools, etc.) to promote profitability in the Farm and Hardware sectors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SBD Teams, including but not limited to National Account Teams, marketing, operations, and finance.
• Relay opportunities, challenges, and market trends to management and marketing teams.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• 5 to 10 years of industry and sales experience is necessary.
• Proven success in promotions and events through creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with IT Business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Financial Acumen – capable of interpreting a basic balance sheet and driving profitable growth.
• Must be willing to travel both in and out of state up to 50% of the time and have the ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
