This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and manage a sales team consisting of 10-25 representatives while expanding market share, increasing volume, and enhancing dealer loyalty.
• Mentor, guide, and develop Area Managers.
• Responsible for supervising outside sales personnel within the designated region.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of new area managers.
• Present and promote company products and services to both existing and prospective clients.
• Create action plans and schedules to pinpoint specific targets and estimate the number of contacts to be made.
• Identify sales prospects and reach out to these and other assigned accounts.
• Develop and maintain sales materials along with up-to-date product knowledge.
• Establish and nurture relationships with current clients and potential customers.
• Oversee Area Managers through quality assessments and follow-up actions.
• Identify and address client concerns promptly.
• Generate various status reports, including activity updates, closings, follow-ups, and goal adherence.
• Relay new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback obtained through field activities to relevant company personnel.
• Design and execute special sales initiatives aimed at decreasing dealer attrition.
• Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
• Travel is required within the designated territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit Auto Dealers.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales management.
• High energy levels complemented by exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and various sales software applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Candidates must reside within the Region.
• Strong computer skills are essential, particularly in MS Office (Excel and Word).
