This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Coaching, guiding, and nurturing Area Managers.
• Accountable for overseeing individuals in outside sales within the designated region.
• Additionally, will support the recruitment and training of new area managers.
• Present and promote the company’s products and services to both existing and prospective clients.
• Formulate action plans and schedules to pinpoint specific targets and estimate the number of contacts to be made.
• Identify sales leads and reach out to these and other assigned accounts.
• Create and sustain sales materials while staying updated on current product knowledge.
• Build and maintain relationships with current clients and potential clients.
• Oversee Area Managers through quality assessments and other follow-up tasks.
• Address and resolve client issues.
• Compile various status reports, including activities, closures, follow-ups, and goal adherence.
• Relay new product and service opportunities, special developments, insights, or feedback collected from field activities to the relevant company personnel.
• Design and execute special sales initiatives aimed at reducing dealer attrition.
• Engage in marketing activities, including seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
• Travel required throughout the assigned territory.
• Must be comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time for visits to Auto Dealers.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management.
• High energy level with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and various sales software applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Qualified candidates should reside within the region.
• Strong computer skills are essential, particularly in MS Office (Excel and Word).
