This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide leadership in logistics for all operations within the region, offering guidance and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with other Regional Managers to develop strategies and capabilities that facilitate logistics support for cross-regional operations.
• Align with the regional leadership team on logistics priorities and strategic objectives, focusing on building a customer-centric, high-performing team.
• Drive the planning and execution of strategies across regional logistics sites to achieve annual performance targets and ensure operational excellence.
• Work closely with internal teams, manage relationships with 3PL providers, establish clear KPIs, and lead initiatives in change management and start-ups.
• Spearhead activities aimed at continuous improvement.
• Ensure that regional logistics performance metrics/KPIs, such as inventory accuracy and OTIF (On Time, In Full), are met and maintained.
• Responsible for leading and managing the Regional Logistics team to guarantee adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Finance regarding the logistics P&L to foster profitable growth and cost efficiency.
• Manage, coach, and mentor regional logistics teams and site logistics associates.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in global transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in directly managing personnel or overseeing a geographically dispersed team.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in multi-site leadership, inventory accuracy, and change management within dynamic supply chain environments.
• Required experience with international shipping and customs.
• Extensive knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations across all modes, including maritime, air freight, over-the-road, and rail.
• Detailed understanding of freight forwarding and carrier contracts.
• Proficient in the configuration, optimization, and implementation of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with expertise in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with pertinent transportation regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience in carrier and 3PL management is preferred.
