
Regional Lead – Direct Relationship Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead, develop, and manage the performance of a regional team of Relationship Managers
• Take ownership of the region's commercial strategy and established commercial targets
• Prepare and deliver performance updates, regional strategies, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Utilize performance data, pipeline insights, CRM activities, and local market knowledge to enhance regional performance
• Provide direct leadership, coaching, one-on-one meetings, pipeline reviews, performance interventions, and development planning
• Direct the region's local business development strategy and cultivate relationships with established SMEs and professional advisers
• Propel Allica's goal of becoming the Most Recommended Bank for established SMEs in the region
• Ensure that necessary risk and control actions align with Allica's risk appetite and policies
• Assist in the development and scalable growth of the Direct-to-Customer operating model
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to maximize opportunities and ensure smooth experiences for customers and colleagues
• Demonstrated senior commercial leadership experience in managing, developing, and performance-managing relationship management, business development, or sales teams
• Background in a regional leadership setting or similar
• In-depth knowledge of SME banking and commercial lending
• Familiarity with relationship-driven origination, credit assessment, facility structuring, portfolio management, and ongoing risk management
• Proven track record of surpassing commercial goals while upholding customer service, risk management, conduct, and employee engagement standards
• Evidence of career advancement and exceptional performance
• Practical, hands-on, and resilient leadership style, capable of operating at a fast pace, addressing challenges, making decisions, and taking ownership of results
• Ability to devise and implement local business development strategies that align with commercial objectives, customer requirements, and risk appetite
• Exceptional forecasting, CRM, and reporting capabilities
• Skill in translating management information into focused actions and coaching priorities
• Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, coaching, developing, challenging, and retaining colleagues
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities
• Understanding of local SME communities, professional adviser networks, competitor activities, and macro issues impacting SMEs
