This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Regional HR Manager will directly report to the Director of Human Resources.
• Provide advisory support regarding company policies and government regulations while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, departmental budgets, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Offer guidance to managers on human resources policies and procedures as required.
• This role will involve some travel and will oversee multiple facilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; PHR/SPHR certification is advantageous.
• A minimum of five (5) years of comprehensive Human Resources experience.
• Experience with grievance procedures, either in a management capacity or as a member of a union committee.
• Familiarity with union and contract negotiation, either as a participant or as a member of the negotiations team/committee.
• Experience in arbitration, Wage/Hour hearings, and Unemployment hearings.
• Background in supporting business and staff functions such as sales and finance.
• Ability to facilitate consensus among groups with diverse viewpoints.
• Proven capability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Competent in interacting with external organizations such as the NLRB, EEOC, etc.
• Understanding of principles and methods in employee/labor relations, basic compensation, staffing/recruiting, safety, and training and development.
• Awareness of various regulatory requirements affecting HR, including EEO, Affirmative Action, ADA, etc.
