This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Accountable for delivering technical consultation and training related to casualty claims for the Agribusiness (AG) Operations team.
• Aids in evaluating the exposure of cases by considering all relevant information.
• Offers analysis and updates on case status to Claims Leadership.
• Ensures that defense counsel provides timely and effective litigation on behalf of Zenith insureds.
• Engages in file conferences and suggests recommendations for future action plans.
• Prepares updates on cases by assessing exposures and offering recommendations.
• Assists in the formulation and timely completion of detailed action plans.
• High School Diploma or equivalent mix of training and experience is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience, along with a professional insurance designation and/or insurance-related education is necessary.
• A minimum of 6 years of technical experience in handling complex casualty claims in a regional or corporate claims setting, with preferred expertise in catastrophic claims management.
• Proven ability to coach individuals through detailed instructions, regular interactions, and repetitive practice.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, negotiation abilities, and influence management skills are essential.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance principles and legal concepts, including understanding of P&C coverages and services.
• Experience in managing catastrophic casualty cases (such as spinal cord injuries, brain damage, severe burns, etc.) is necessary.
• Technical experience within a multi-state P&C environment is preferred.
• A valid Driver License in good standing is required.
