Regional Chief Medical Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the overall clinical integrity of the cardiology and various medical programs.

• Collaborate closely with the assigned Director of Clinical Operations (DCO).

• Foster a professional working relationship with all physicians at VitalSolution.

• Review and ensure compliance of VitalSolution physicians with established medical and clinical standards.

• Manage and support the adherence of VitalSolution physicians to operational and administrative policies.

• Serve as a liaison between VitalSolution physicians and facility management.

• Conduct reference checks and initial phone screening evaluations.

• Proactively identify potential physician candidates.

• Work alongside Directors of Clinical Operations to provide clinical content for Facility deliverables.

• Perform on-site assessments of prospective facilities.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Serve as a physician for VitalSolution in a full-time role.

• Hold a medical degree, either M.D. or D.O.

• Publication in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.

• An advanced degree in management, such as M.B.A., M.P.H., or M.H.A., is preferred.

• ABIM Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology is required.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an administrative role.

• At least five (5) years of experience in a team environment, with three (3) years in a supervisory position managing direct reports.
