Regional Business Manager, Refuse Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for spearheading sales initiatives across all levels within the designated territory and implementing sales strategies.

• Identifying and pursuing new accounts, nurturing relationships, and promoting the Autocar value proposition to secure new business.

• Cultivating and overseeing relationships with key accounts in the refuse sector.

• Steering regional sales activities by formulating strategies customized to meet the needs of refuse fleet customers.

• Achieving or surpassing sales objectives through direct interaction with end-users.

• Discovering new business opportunities and market segments through data analysis.

• Collaborating with fleet managers and other stakeholders to evaluate and address specific operational needs.

• Utilizing expertise in the vocational truck industry to effectively meet customer requirements.

• Partnering closely with internal product engineering teams to communicate customer feedback.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in outside sales within the Heavy Truck, Refuse, or related industries.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trucks, with the capability to consult and promote preference for Autocar.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage personal call schedules and daily planning effectively.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in developing relationships both externally and internally with a diverse range of individuals.

• Competent in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and CRM software.

• Willingness to travel extensively.

• Strong work ethic, ambition to succeed, commitment to achieving results, and a competitive spirit.

• Quick to learn, requiring minimal supervision, and possessing strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Team-oriented individual with outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
