📋 Description

• The Regional Business Director is accountable for enhancing performance, driving demand creation, and cultivating a high-impact culture while ensuring the successful implementation of launch strategies and subsequent commercial initiatives through collaboration, coaching, and accountability.

• Coach for Excellence – Improve team effectiveness through direct field observations, strategic coaching, peer collaboration, and performance feedback, ensuring smooth execution of launch and organizational priorities while supporting team development.

• Execution & Competitive Readiness – Analyze and strategically plan based on regional dynamics, identifying market growth opportunities, addressing challenges, and leveraging competitive insights to enhance customer experience and product performance.

• Develop robust customer relationships, comprehend evolving needs, and provide innovative solutions to create market impact.

• Exhibit Cross-Functional Leadership – Uphold and lead the regional market-based ecosystem model and collaborate with medical teams, thought leader liaisons, strategic account sales, market access, operations, and other internal stakeholders as necessary to align on strategy and execution, fostering trust and collaboration.

• Accurately Monitor Performance – Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness, optimize resources, and refine commercial strategies.

• Model Integrity – Stay abreast of industry regulations, market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback to inform decision-making and strategy development. Ensure all commercial activities comply with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards while upholding Sobi’s values and best industry practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related field) preferred.

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with substantial experience in account sales or other related commercial leadership roles in rheumatology, nephrology, rare disease, or other specialized therapeutic areas.

• At least 5-10 years in sales, including 3+ years of field leadership experience with a proven record of strong performance.

• Launch Excellence – Demonstrated capability to successfully drive product launches in team-selling environments through executing a comprehensive office call strategy, leveraging profound market insights, and ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience in rheumatology, nephrology, immunology, or related fields is preferred.

• Data-Driven Business Planning – Proficient in crafting and executing comprehensive account and market strategies based on insights, competitive intelligence, and analytics to optimize engagement and achieve measurable business impact.

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% as required by the role.
