This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Drive growth in the territory by identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities while enhancing relationships with current accounts.
• Act as the primary point of account management for healthcare providers, which includes physicians, genetic counselors, and their staff.
• Provide customized, consultative sales presentations to showcase the value of GeneDx’s solutions and services.
• Organize and conduct both in-person and virtual meetings with clients.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless onboarding, service delivery, and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
• Lead educational initiatives within the territory, which encompass arranging in-office appointments, organizing regional conferences, hosting physician lunches and dinners, and launching other engagement activities.
• Stay informed about developments in clinical genomics, product offerings, and the competitive landscape to effectively position GeneDx.
• Maintain a strong field presence, aiming for 4.5 days per week spent engaging with clients.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets, KPIs, and activity metrics.
• Record customer opportunities, interactions, and updates in CRM and other relevant business systems, while maintaining a targeted clinician development pipeline.
• Actively represent and promote GeneDx's cultural principles: adapt to change; communicate openly and empathetically; fulfill commitments; be bold in vision and courageous in execution; and operate with a sense of urgency.
• Exhibit accountability and a robust work ethic, with a focus on teamwork.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare sales, ideally within a physician sales/services environment, or 2+ years of experience as a genetic counselor.
• Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and the ability to promote multiple service offerings while managing various business opportunities simultaneously.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Capable of working independently and effectively managing time and territory activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
