This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Serve as the primary contact in the field for the US Market Access Regional Payer team within the specified geographical area.
• Support the comprehensive SOBI portfolio and work towards ensuring effective market access expenditures.
• Collaborate with payers and key influencers to improve payer policies, ensuring suitable product formulary placement.
• Enhance overall patient access to our offerings.
• Engage with a variety of stakeholders, influencers, and customer categories, including Payers, PBMs, Advocacy groups, Hospital Academia, IDNs, ACOs, C-Suite executives, High-Cost Drug Committees, and Community Oncology Accounts.
• Comprehend the financial and economic models and their impact across patient benefits and care sites.
• Promote existing policies, protocols, and pathways to assist patients in gaining access to our products.
• Enable the exchange of clinical and economic evidence with formulary decision-makers.
• Co-lead contracting and implementation initiatives in collaboration with commercial leadership.
• A minimum of a B.A./B.S. is required; an MBA, Pharm D, or a related degree is preferred.
• A valid Driver's License is necessary.
• Experience managing payer accounts, specifically with regional/national payers.
• At least 10 years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology field.
• A minimum of 4-5 years of proven success in reimbursement/account management within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology disease states is preferred.
• Familiarity with Rare/Ultra Rare disease states is preferred.
• Industry Knowledge – strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry drug channels and distribution processes (e.g., medical, pharmacy, managed care systems, etc.).
• Communication – adept at articulating and presenting ideas and data both verbally and in writing in a convincing and appropriate manner.
• Change Management / Flexibility – confidently navigates and leads through change while managing multiple tasks and adapting to shifting business priorities based on evolving needs.
• Analytical Skills – capacity to analyze and utilize data/reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Business Planning – develop and execute effective business plans across the portfolio in support of brand imperatives concerning assigned market access customers.
