Referral Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance, support, consultation, and referrals to employees, employers, and service providers.

• Oversee a caseload of Formal Referral cases that vary in clinical acuity.

• Address occasional after-hours calls related to FMR requests and management consultations.

• Create personalized care plans that cater to each employee's distinct clinical and sub-clinical requirements.

• Facilitate referrals and assist employees in obtaining appointments for short-term EAP counseling.

• Advocate for mental health and assist participants in navigating towards higher levels of care.

• Perform active case management, including reviewing treatment plans, monitoring compliance, and consulting with managers.

• Follow up with employees to ensure adherence to treatment plans and their engagement in the treatment process.

• Maintain communication with referring managers and HR representatives.

• Ensure accurate and complete record-keeping in line with HIPAA, ethical standards, and departmental policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in a mental health field, such as Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Relevant post-graduate clinical experience is required.

• Must possess clinical licensure.

• Strong analytical skills to gather data, establish facts, identify problems, and reach valid conclusions.

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

• High attention to detail is essential.

• Capability to manage cases from specialized accounts, including DOT violations.

• Ability to work independently and fully remotely while handling a caseload of over 60 FMR cases.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in providing management consultation to employers on employee disciplinary and mental health issues.
