This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.
β’ You will take charge of both the acquisition and disposition processes for some of the largest institutional buyers and sellers of single-family homes across the nation.
β’ On the acquisition front, you'll swiftly assemble and present offers, negotiating vigorously on behalf of our clients.
β’ For dispositions, you will oversee the entire listing process: activating listings, handling and negotiating offers, and ensuring deals progress smoothly from contract to closing.
β’ This position is high-volume and set in a rapidly evolving Series A startup environment. Tools and processes are subject to change, and you will need to be thoroughly familiar with the specific playbooks for each customer.
β’ This role involves tasks that are challenging for AI, including making judgment calls, having difficult conversations, and navigating the numerous small decisions that keep a deal intact.
β’ Possession of active real estate licenses in a minimum of three states within our operational areas (GA, FL, TX, NC, AZ, TN, AL, IN, OH, MO, KS, NV, CO, CA, OK), with a commitment to obtaining additional licenses after hire.
β’ Over 5 years of experience as a licensed real estate agent.
β’ Proven expertise in managing both acquisitions and dispositions, including drafting and presenting offers, negotiating terms, managing listings, and coordinating from contract to closing.
β’ Concrete experience with AI workflows, having structured your processes around at least one general-purpose LLM (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) and preferably one real estate-specific AI tool (like Follow Up Boss AI, Compass AI, Real's Leo, or similar) used to manage an actual pipeline.
β’ Sound judgment regarding when to refrain from using AI, along with the capacity to assess AI outputs for accuracy and Fair Housing compliance prior to sharing with clients or counterparties.
β’ Strong technical proficiency with tools such as Salesforce or similar CRM systems, G-Suite, Slack, MacOS, and the ability to operate across multiple systems simultaneously.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of representing Mainstay and our clients confidently to agents, buyers, and sellers on the opposite side of negotiations.
β’ Reliable access to a smartphone and computer for task execution, documentation, and communication needs.
β’ Willingness to work evenings and weekends when transactions necessitate such availability.
