This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Handle incoming calls and make outgoing calls to insurance providers and patients as needed.
• Receive, assess, and reply to assistance requests from leadership, clients, and third-party business partners through various communication methods.
• Submit correction requests to the appropriate teams upon identifying billing errors.
• Follow up on adjusted patient accounts to confirm billing accuracy.
• Manage and oversee spreadsheets related to reported issues and disputes.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Cerner Practice Management.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Skilled in using various software solutions and portals to address inquiries.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
• Capable of exercising independent judgment when necessary.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Self-motivated and quick to learn.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
