RCIS Crop Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Manage the most intricate claims that involve multiple loss causes.

• Utilize judgment to assess liability by collecting and evaluating pertinent facts.

• Review relevant coverage for claims and ascertain whether losses are covered.

• Aid in the training of junior adjusters.

• Conduct Quality Assurance reviews.

• Manage claims related to specialty crops as assigned.

• Handle claims for 508H crops.

• Work in conjunction with the national training team.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance sectors.

• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be acquired within 180 days of the hire date.

• Access to personal transportation and ability to travel within the assigned territory.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
