This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and optimize payments on medical claims with insurance companies representing hospitals and medical providers.
• Research and analyze auto-accident details to identify the appropriate payer.
• Engage with patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys through outbound calls.
• Submit bills along with the necessary documentation to insurance companies.
• Identify follow-up actions and resubmit incorrectly paid bills to secure additional payments.
• Assist with denial reports, audits, and overall team support activities.
• Maintain productivity and performance standards in a high-volume call center setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Capable of efficiently navigating multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously.
• Ability to sustain strong performance in a fast-paced, high-outbound-call-center environment with productivity targets.
• Skilled in organizing tasks while managing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A private, distraction-free workspace at home.
• Must be comfortable with on-camera presence during work hours.
• Reliable internet connection is required.
• Home internet speeds must exceed 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Workspace must accommodate provided workstation equipment.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Completion of employment history verification and successful background check is required.
