Rates Configuration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure, maintain, and update rate tables and fee schedules within healthcare management systems.

• Conduct audits and validate rate configurations to ensure precision and adherence to contractual agreements.

• Collaborate with teams in contracting, claims, and provider relations to implement changes to rates.

• Identify and rectify discrepancies in rate data, escalating issues as necessary.

• Document processes, updates, and changes in configurations for internal records and compliance purposes.

• Provide support for system testing and quality assurance related to rate updates and implementations.

• Produce reports and analyses concerning rate performance and the accuracy of configurations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in healthcare administration, managed care, or a related field.

• Knowledge of fee schedules, CPT codes, and methodologies for healthcare reimbursement.

• Exceptional analytical and data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and healthcare management or claims processing systems.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a relevant field is preferred.
