Quantexa Developer – Contextual Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement data ingestion pipelines to populate the Quantexa platform with information from various internal and external sources.

• Configure and optimize the Entity Resolution engine to establish a unified and reliable view of customers, organizations, and counterparties across global data environments.

• Create and execute contextual monitoring scenarios and analytical models to identify intricate, multi-stage money laundering activities and other financial crimes.

• Possess practical experience with the Quantexa platform, including its Entity Resolution and Network Generation functionalities.

• Develop and enhance data models within Quantexa to facilitate advanced network analysis and graph-oriented analytics.

• Construct and tailor components within the Quantexa platform to support the comprehensive investigation workflow.

• Evaluate the efficacy of detection scenarios, emphasizing the reduction of false positives and the enhancement of true positive alert accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience with the Quantexa Contextual Decision Intelligence (CDI) platform.

• Demonstrated expertise in configuring Entity Resolution rules and a solid understanding of the principles underlying the Entity Lab.

• Proficiency in Scala and/or Java, which are the core programming languages for Quantexa development.

• Experience with Python for data manipulation and analytics purposes.

• Mandatory proficiency in SQL and familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark).

• Java or Python experience is highly desirable for customization tasks.

• Competence in Unix/Linux command line operations.

• Strong understanding of AML/CFT concepts, including customer risk assessment, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity identification.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of the banking and financial services sector, particularly compliance regulations.
