This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Directly oversees and manages staff, which includes hiring, conducting performance evaluations, making salary recommendations, and setting individual development goals and objectives.
• Supervises quality improvement initiatives in the designated area of the State, involving data collection, monitoring, and reporting on quality improvement activities.
• Leads and/or engages in essential committees focused on continuous quality improvement, staff training, and consumer health and safety matters.
• Works in collaboration with Directors to design and conduct evaluations of specific processes and/or operational areas to assess performance against quality and compliance metrics; synthesizes data from these evaluations, offers improvement recommendations, and presents findings to senior management.
• Creates and implements processes and tools related to quality improvement, including chart audits, consumer satisfaction surveys, targeted reviews, and ongoing data monitoring mechanisms.
• Oversees compliance with After-Hours requirements, which includes reviewing the On-Call Log for thorough and appropriate responses; supervises the preparation of summary records for annual assessments; monitors and facilitates incident reporting in accordance with protocols.
• Complies with the CareStar Rule while executing job responsibilities.
• Understands and adheres to CareStar Policies and Procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding patient information.
• Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker, Registered Nurse with a minimum of 36 months of experience in home and community-based services within the past decade; OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Nursing, Social Services, or a related field with at least 60 months of experience in program management or program analysis.
• Familiarity with continuous quality improvement concepts, data analysis, and fundamental statistics.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and car insurance as mandated by State law.
