This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving organizational quality and performance.
• Evaluate performance trends and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Execute best-practice strategies effectively.
• Formulate and refine end-to-end processes using design thinking principles.
• Track organizational performance metrics closely.
• Assist in ongoing efforts for continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with various teams to meet strategic objectives.
• Act as the key quality improvement expert for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration, communication, and alignment towards achieving improvement targets.
• Ensure enterprise performance on designated quality metrics.
• Integrate IEHP’s Quality Program objectives, including HEDIS, CAHPS, and NCQA Accreditation.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in quality measurement within a health system or health plan environment, concentrating on health plan quality improvement strategies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Certification as a Professional of Healthcare Quality is required or must be obtained within one (1) year of employment.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a Science or Health-Related field is preferred.
• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California BRN is preferred.
• Advanced clinical licensure that is active, unrestricted, and unencumbered, issued by the appropriate State Board is preferred.
• A valid California Driver’s License is preferred.
• Familiarity with health plan, federal, state, and accreditation quality standards is essential.
• Understanding of provider workflows and processes related to care coordination and transition management is important.
• Awareness of SDOH, health equity, community resources, person-centered care, and alternative care models is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Project is required.
• Competence in basic computer applications is expected.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, organizational, leadership, and project management abilities are crucial.
• Capability to lead and collaborate within a cross-functional team is essential.
• Skill in managing multiple projects and navigating through ambiguity is required.
