This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Conduct ongoing synthesis and evaluation of health care quality metrics and other essential performance indicators.
• Execute intermediate to advanced analyses of vital health-related metrics and program data to uncover trends, project performance, and set performance targets.
• Create dashboards and visual representations of health care quality metrics and key performance indicators utilizing claims, administrative, and/or program data.
• Apply analytical technical skills to evaluate the impact of significant program and policy decisions aimed at achieving strategic quality enhancement objectives.
• Deliver data insights and analyses to leadership to guide strategic recommendations concerning health care quality.
• Present data in a clear and comprehensible manner, assisting others in grasping how data can drive improvement.
• Offer guidance or expertise to fellow analysts within the I&E team.
• Serve as a data resource and metric expert on various projects.
• Communicate intricate analyses and data effectively to non-technical audiences, including speaking at internal and external workgroups and committees.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders regarding health care data and clinical quality metrics.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics and data visualization (coding and dashboard creation) with a strong emphasis on quality improvement or regulatory reporting, including at least 2 years in a health-related field.
• OR a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, public administration, or a health-related field with at least 3 years of experience in data analytics and data visualization (coding and dashboard creation) focused on quality improvement or regulatory reporting, including a minimum of 1 year in a health-related field.
• OR a Master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, public administration, or a health-related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics and data visualization (coding and dashboard creation) with a strong emphasis on quality improvement or regulatory reporting, including at least 1 year in a health-related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, and/or Databricks.
