Quality Function Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Volta's quality strategy, standards, and management system across all projects.

• Provide functional leadership to the quality leads integrated within each project team.

• Establish inspection and testing plan standards for all major packages.

• Develop vendor quality and factory surveillance programs for critical equipment.

• Manage non-conformance issues and drive root-cause resolution throughout the fleet.

• Define the quality standards that support commissioning from level 1 to level 5.

• Conduct quality audits and assurance reviews on active sites.

• Instill right-first-time practices and disseminate learnings across projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven quality leadership on data center or mission-critical construction programs is a must.

• In-depth knowledge of commissioning practices for complex, MEP-intensive facilities.

• Experience in establishing or managing quality systems across multiple projects.

• A solid track record in vendor quality and factory acceptance for critical equipment.

• Proficient in structured root-cause problem-solving and clear reporting.

• The credibility to uphold standards for projects and contractors.

• Willingness to travel frequently between sites.
