This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• **Quality from the beginning:** Engage in discovery, pre-refinement, refinement, and solution discussions; Foresee risks, dependencies, and both technical and business impacts; Assist in defining aspects related to test strategy, observability, rollout, and risk management.

• **Strategy and Automation:** Establish quality strategies for new projects; Conduct risk analyses and develop approaches for functional, technical, and operational coverage; Create, enhance, and maintain test automations; Embed quality within continuous delivery pipelines and test architecture.

• **Technical and Operational Quality:** Execute frontend, backend, API, and integration testing; Provide support for technical investigations, troubleshooting, and incident analysis; Leverage metrics, monitoring, and observability to inform decisions and drive enhancements.

• **Technical Leadership:** Serve as a technical authority in Quality Engineering; Guide and assist in the technical growth of other Quality Engineers; Shape practices and decisions regarding quality; Aid in the advancement of standards, frameworks, playbooks, and Chapter initiatives.

• **AI in Engineering:** Utilize AI tools to enhance analysis, automation, and productivity; Seek opportunities to implement AI in Quality Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Quality Engineering:** Extensive experience in Quality Engineering, encompassing test strategy, risk analysis, Shift Left, test planning, and integrated participation in the software development lifecycle.

• **Test Automation:** Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated testing solutions, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and sustainability of releases.

• **APIs and Integrations:** In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, authentication, API testing, system integrations, and technical troubleshooting.

• **Software Engineering:** Familiarity with Git, pull requests, versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and incorporating quality practices into development workflows.

• **Observability:** Experience with monitoring, logs, metrics, incident analysis, and technical investigation in distributed environments.

• **Nice to have:** Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Robot Framework for constructing and enhancing automated tests.

• **Observability and Analytics:** Experience with tools like Datadog, Grafana, and PostHog for monitoring, metrics, and application behavior analysis.

• **Distributed Systems:** Understanding of microservices architectures, events, webhooks, callbacks, queues, messaging, asynchronous processing, Kafka, and SQS.

• **Technical Quality:** Experience with contract testing, Pact, OpenAPI/Swagger, load and performance testing, as well as test architecture.

• **Development:** Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript to assist in building solutions and automation.

• **AI in Engineering:** Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, AI agents, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted automation.
