This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Develop and implement testing strategies, assessing what should be automated, what requires manual testing, and suitable test coverage levels for various projects and products.
• Create, enhance, and sustain automated testing frameworks and suites for both UI (e.g., Playwright & Selenium) and API (e.g., Postman) testing.
• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions & Jenkins) to guarantee tests are executed with every build and deployment.
• Perform performance, load, and reliability testing (e.g., k6, JMeter) to verify that systems can handle real-world usage at scale.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to promote improved design, testability, and early quality assurance in the development lifecycle.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to aid in test generation, exploratory testing, defect triage, and root cause analysis.
• Assess how AI can enhance QA workflows while ensuring that outputs are validated, maintainable, and secure.
• Identify, document, and monitor defects; assist in reproduction and debugging to expedite resolution.
• Continuously enhance test coverage, minimize flaky tests, and optimize test execution speed.
• Review and contribute to technical documentation, test plans, and quality metrics reporting.
• Engage in ad hoc QA tasks such as testing hotfixes, planning test coverage, executing test plans, and supporting patch releases.
• Assess and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and AI-enabled practices to elevate team quality standards.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer, SDET, or Test Automation Engineer position.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright & Selenium).
• Proficient programming skills in at least one language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Practical experience in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Comprehensive understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., k6 or JMeter).
• Interest or experience with AI-assisted tools for developers or QA (e.g., code generation, test suggestions, debugging assistants).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A self-motivated individual who can work independently and excels in a collaborative team setting.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
