Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.

• Construct comprehensive automated test suites utilizing contemporary languages and tools (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).

• Embed automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to guarantee swift and dependable feedback loops.

• Work alongside engineering teams to ascertain root causes, enhance testability, and avert defects.

• Establish quality metrics and partake in ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Conduct performance, load, or reliability testing as required.

• Evaluate code, engage in architectural discussions, and advocate for automation-first methodologies.

• Guide junior engineers on automation, tools, and quality engineering principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering.

• Proficient programming skills in one or more modern programming languages.

• Practical experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of testing strategies for distributed systems, APIs, and contemporary web/mobile applications.

• Awareness of cloud environments and DevOps methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to influence engineering teams and promote quality enhancements throughout the organization.
