Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain automated testing scripts along with scalable automation frameworks.

• Work closely with engineering and product teams to establish testing strategies and acceptance criteria.

• Incorporate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate ongoing quality assurance.

• Perform automated, exploratory, and regression testing.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects until resolution.

• Aid in enhancing test coverage, execution speed, and automation effectiveness.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.

• Provide support for regulatory and compliance standards when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in software quality engineering or test automation.

• Expertise with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

• Experience with BDD frameworks, such as Cucumber or SpecFlow, is preferred.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, Java, or C#.

• Experience in Agile development settings.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in healthcare, clinical trials, medical imaging, or other regulated fields is preferred.
