• **WHAT YOU'LL DO**

• Craft a quality strategy that spans .NET, PHP, and Node with TypeScript. You won’t be applying a single-stack playbook; instead, you will establish a quality approach that is robust across a diverse portfolio of systems.

• Develop the automation layer. Ensure API and end-to-end test coverage is integrated into each platform's delivery pipeline, utilizing agentic and AI-driven tools strategically so that coverage can scale without necessitating additional headcount for every new surface.

• Define and oversee the quality gates for all products. No ticket should progress beyond development without a clear testing designation. Nothing should be deployed to production without documented proof that tests have passed in an environment that accurately reflects production, maintaining the same stack and configuration. You maintain the standard and provide sign-off on environment parity.

• Manage regression protection through various legacy technology modernization efforts. Establish the safety net that allows engineering to re-platform confidently without inadvertently disrupting customer-facing behavior. This differentiates between a modernization that is successfully delivered and one that falters due to fear of causing issues.

• Integrate quality into the delivery cycle of each development team rather than adding it as an afterthought. You will collaborate with engineering leadership across platforms and product owners, making quality a discipline that teams rely on rather than a checkpoint they attempt to circumvent.

⛳️ Requirements

• **WHO YOU ARE**

• You possess extensive experience in software quality, particularly in test automation. You are not a manual-QA manager aiming to oversee a team of testers. You have constructed systems, designed automated suites, and made critical decisions regarding testing priorities and methodologies.

• You have either established or significantly restructured a quality function previously, ideally across multiple stacks or products. You know how to create standards where none exist and encourage engineering to embrace them without resistance.

• You are proficient in modern automation and recognize the differences among stacks. You can assess quality in a .NET system, a PHP system, and a Node with TypeScript system, and you can formulate an approach that is adaptable rather than one that is limited to your existing knowledge.

• You view AI and agentic tools as the force multipliers that enable cross-stack quality for a small team.

• You have safeguarded a product during a significant migration, re-platforming, or rewrite, where regression posed the primary risk and the stakes of failure were customer trust.

• You are aware that a multi-region SaaS product entails uptime and SLA obligations, and you design quality processes with this reality in consideration.

• Experience in government, healthcare, or compliance is advantageous but not mandatory.
