Quality Director – Trucking Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise and assess operational performance to guarantee efficiency, precision, and adherence to company standards.

• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to operations staff and leadership.

• Spearhead the adoption of new technologies, processes, and operational strategies.

• Perform quality audits and ensure that corrective measures are enacted.

• Oversee and evaluate all key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Facilitate KPI review meetings and convey performance trends and discrepancies.

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives throughout operations.

• Assist in new operation start-ups, including managing project implementation plans.

• Exhibit a consistently positive and professional attitude, promoting a collaborative and inclusive workplace.

• Manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• A minimum of 5 years in operations, quality management, or logistics leadership positions.

• Demonstrated experience in managing KPIs, conducting audits, and enhancing operational performance.

• Proven ability to lead teams, provide training, and mentor staff.

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain sectors is preferred.

• Project management experience, particularly in leading system or process implementations, is preferred.

• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with data tracking and KPI reporting.

• Familiarity with operational and logistics systems, including TMW, TotalMail, PeopleNet, and Samsara.
