This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the design and creation of low to medium complexity automated test scripts.

• Execute automated test cases and document the results.

• Identify, document, and manage software defects until resolution using defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

• Clearly and concisely document test cases, test results, and defects.

• Collaborate with the development team to comprehend application functionality and testing requirements.

• Maintain and update existing automated test scripts, ensuring alignment with the latest application modifications and improvements.

• Adhere to automation best practices.

• Create test designs and apply best practices and methodologies to identify current and future solutions.

• Employ analytical processes to comprehend issues and assess potential solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• 1-2 years of testing experience with 0-1 year in automation testing or equivalent automation training.

• Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

• Basic knowledge of Gherkin test scenarios and feature files.

• Familiarity with API and UI functional testing.

• Understanding of the end-to-end testing approach and end-user requirements.

• Basic familiarity with the Java programming language (core concepts).

• Fundamental knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Karate, JUnit, TestNG).

• Basic experience with SQL database querying.
