Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and dependability of enterprise data warehouse applications.

• Validate data transformations and create automated testing solutions.

• Conduct database testing and guarantee precise reporting across cloud-based data platforms.

• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts effectively.

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for ETL, database, and regression testing.

• Execute data validation, reconciliation, row count, aggregate, and data integrity testing.

• Validate cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Databricks, Redshift, Amazon S3, and RDS.

• Create test plans based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Engage in system integration, regression, and performance testing.

• Identify defects, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.

• 4 years of experience in the field.

• 3 years of Test Automation experience.

• Proficiency in developing test plans through data-driven testing methodologies.

• Experience in ETL Testing, Backend Database Testing, and Data Validation.

• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift.

• Experience in creating both manual and automated testing solutions.

• Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services, Databricks, and data warehouse environments.

• Experience in the healthcare domain is an advantage.

• Expertise in creating data-driven test plans and validating extensive datasets.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
