Quality Assurance Engineer – I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing.

• Create and manage test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

• Identify, log, and monitor bugs, providing clear reproduction steps.

• Perform API testing (validation, authentication, edge cases) using Postman.

• Develop, execute, and sustain automation test scripts utilizing Cypress.

• Verify backend data through SQL queries.

• Utilize Git for version control (branching, commits, basic pull requests).

• Engage with shell/CLI tools for debugging and validation purposes.

• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams during release cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of QA experience in product-based or SaaS environments.

• Strong knowledge of manual testing principles.

• Practical experience in test automation is essential.

• Ability to write and maintain test scripts in Cypress (or similar JavaScript-based frameworks).

• Understanding of selectors, waits, assertions, and test structuring.

• Extensive experience in API testing utilizing Postman.

• Proficiency in SQL (including joins, aggregations, and data validation).

• Familiarity with Git commands.

• Basic knowledge of shell scripting and CLI usage.

• Comprehensive understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes.

• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ClickUp, etc.).
