Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Convert business needs into detailed test plans while recognizing potential risks and deficiencies.

• Evaluate new features, system processes, and integrations through exploratory regression and end-to-end testing.

• Utilize AI and automation techniques to enhance test design, debugging, and coverage.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test suites within continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.

• Verify integrations, APIs, webhooks, event-driven workflows, and external connections.

• Examine and confirm data accuracy using SQL backend queries and system-level assessments.

• Perform performance, load, and reliability testing to guarantee consistent system functionality.

• Review logs, telemetry, and production data to pinpoint quality deficiencies and recommend enhancements.

• Work collaboratively across departments to clarify requirements and ensure that solutions are thoroughly testable.

• Enhance quality assurance processes by incorporating AI and contemporary testing methodologies, balancing both manual and automated efforts.

• Play a role in shaping the automation roadmap and propose process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing is essential.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality engineering is required.

• At least 3 years of experience with multi-tenant applications is necessary.

• Practical experience in creating automated tests for UI (using Playwright/Cypress/Selenium) and integration tests (using Postman/Bruno/Insomnia) is required.

• Experience in testing and validating REST APIs is mandatory.
