This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop and sustain automated test coverage for both backend services and the frontend, ensuring that new features are deployed without disrupting existing functionality.
• Incorporate tests into CI pipelines to ensure quality checks are performed automatically with every modification.
• Collaborate with engineers to convert real-world failures into lasting regression tests.
• Design and implement outbound-call automation that executes test calls through the live voice pipeline, mimicking realistic caller scenarios, and verifies the platform's performance from beginning to end.
• Evaluate the speech-to-text (STT) layer — assessing transcription accuracy and the platform's ability to understand callers reliably.
• Assess the text-to-speech (TTS) layer — confirming pronunciation, naturalness, and correct behavior of the voice output.
• Conduct regression testing across various conversation flows to identify behavioral changes following updates.
• Analyze calls against conversational quality metrics — including accuracy, tone, adherence to flow, comprehension, transitions between stages, summaries, outcome management, call control, and minimizing unnecessary repetition.
• Replicate, document, and monitor defects until resolution, providing clear reproduction steps based on real call instances.
• Collaborate with engineers, prompt authors, and the operations team to pinpoint quality concerns and develop permanent test coverage around them.
• Over 4 years of practical experience in QA automation or software testing with a strong emphasis on automation.
• Proficient in Python — you write, debug, and maintain test scripts on a daily basis, rather than occasionally.
• Experience in creating and maintaining automated test suites for both API and UI layers.
• Comfortable with testing REST APIs and handling structured data (JSON).
• Familiarity with automated web and UI testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of version-control workflows (Git) and continuous integration pipelines — you have successfully integrated automated tests into CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies — including test design, regression strategy, and the defect lifecycle.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
• Able to work remotely while aligning with UK business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM GMT/BST).
• Competitive compensation package based on experience.
• Potential for share options.
• Opportunities for professional development, including conference attendance and CPD support.
• The chance to lead test automation for a live voice AI platform at one of the UK's fastest-growing healthtech companies.
• Remote working within a collaborative, high-ownership engineering culture.
• Direct collaboration with engineering, AI/ML, and product teams.
