Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of comprehensive testing strategies, including automated tests, exploratory testing, UI, API, and integration tests.

• Ensure that quality is prioritized from the outset, adhering to the shift-left principle.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and developers throughout the agile development lifecycle.

• Responsible for creating and maintaining test repositories and test data.

• Conduct regular regression testing.

• Enhance QA processes and utilize innovative, AI-driven testing methodologies.

• Build and continuously refine test automation frameworks.

• Share best practices and foster a sustainable quality culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar software development role.

• Strong knowledge of contemporary testing techniques.

• ISTQB certification (minimum Foundation Level) is mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with automated UI and API testing, preferably in an SAP or Fiori environment.

• Experience in test management, particularly with test repositories, test data management, and regression testing.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Solid understanding of software development processes.

• Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented work style, complemented by strong communication skills.

• Ideally, possess basic SAP knowledge, experience with performance or security testing, and familiarity with monitoring tools.

• A keen interest in AI-assisted testing methods.
