Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression suites.

• Conduct manual functional, exploratory, and acceptance testing for both web and mobile applications.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects until resolution, ensuring effective communication with engineering teams.

• Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before they are released.

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Engage in sprint ceremonies and assist in release readiness evaluations.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide constructive feedback to stakeholders.

• Promote quality throughout the development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software QA or manual testing positions.

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, test design strategies, and defect management processes.

• Experience in testing intricate user flows, integrations, and multi-platform systems.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or other similar test management platforms.

• Exceptional communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Experience working within agile environments.

• Basic understanding of automation concepts (a plus, but not mandatory).
